Ben Endres, LMSW

Therapist

Originally from Wisconsin, I moved to the DMV six years ago for my career in student life at colleges and universities. My experiences providing one-on-one and group educational support in the college environment inspired my desire to become a therapist. I have since gone back to school and graduated with my master’s degree in social work and received my license in the state of Maryland.

My experience thus far has centered around helping adolescents and adults navigate eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, body image distress, relationship issues, healthy masculinity development, emotion regulation, work-related burnout, and stress in both inpatient and outpatient settings. While my approach varies from person to person, I have specific training in several modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma (CPT), exposure-based therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I believe therapy works best when it is collaborative, holistic, and free of judgement. You play an essential role in what your therapeutic experience looks and feels like. It is my goal to provide you with a safe space that empowers your strengths, validates your lived experiences, and acknowledges the impact your environment has on your life.

I look forward to being a part of your journey.
