LISA LUSE, LCSW-C
Owner/Therapist
I am a native Washingtonian and psychotherapist in Bethesda, MD specializing in eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, and family conflict.

After receiving my master's in social work from the University of Pennsylvania I worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings primarily with people who struggle with eating disorders and mood disorders. I have a passion for working with young adults as they navigate the social and academic pressures of school and are learning how to live healthy and successful lives. Through this work I work closely with parents and caregivers so that they can help support their loved one in becoming his or her best self.

Each year I present at various local and national conferences as well as give presentations to other professionals on issues related to mental health. I also enjoy doing outreach with children and adolescents about body image and self-esteem. I am a founding member of the Baltimore/Metro Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals. I also sit on the executive board of EveryMind, an organization dedicated to strengthening communities and empowering individuals to reach optimal mental wellness.
I am a board approved supervisor in the state of Maryland and provide supervision to new clinicians around eating disorders, anxiety, and family therapy.
